Snow Skin Whitening Lotion and Cream Review

    If you are reading this blog, you're probably like me who's really into skin whitening. While everyone else from the other parts of the world aim for that tan skin,  here in the Philippines, skin whitening is really a "trend". Filipinos are naturally tan but majority of us wants to have that fair skin like snow white. LOL. There are people who are taking glutathione capsules and  some goes to the extent of glutathione injection/IV ( intravenous). I tried using whitening soaps,lotions & capsules but not the IV ones. Don't get wrong, I just don't have the courage to face that needle. lol.

  As a skincare junkie, I was really excited to try these Snow Skin Whitening products from Vida Nutriscience ( makers of Snow Caps and My Slim ) and since it was new in the Philippine market, I was curious about these so called 7 Elite Skin Whitening Actives because I haven't heard these ingredients before, except Alpha Arbutin.

CONS:

• There's no SPF, UVA and UVB protection printed on the bottle
• The diagrams inside the box looks complicated

FINAL THOUGHTS :

If  it has SPF content printed on the bottle, it would be a big PLUS. I hope they would come up with the travel size ones so that consumers who are hesitant to spend that amount of money but wants to try the product can also avail.

Overall, I love these products. There was a significant improvement on my skin during the 4th day using the products which really impressed me.

REVIEW : JAMES COOPER / JAZZY EYEBROW GEL

Colored eyebrow gels and tints work well for making the most of the sparse & giving a thicker look to most eyebrows.
I always wanted to lighten the shade of my brows but dyeing can be dangerous for it can result to blindness because most hair dyes are not suited for coloring brows. Luckily, I found etude house's brow tint from an online store, yes I liked it but unfortunately it dries up fast so I decided to try new brands to see which works best. I heard about the MAC girl boy brow gel but sadly it's not available here in Davao, so I  searched and what caught my interest is this Jazzy Eyebrow Gel! 

I got the Dark Brown shade :)

Way cheaper compared to its counterparts

One thing that caught my eye is this, that's a thumbs up!

This is like a mascara for the brows! :D

PRO'S :

• Inexpensive (  compared to MAC, Majolica Majorca & Etude House )
• Great color selection! (  blonde, brunette & deeper brown shade )
• 7g ( you get a good amount of product )
• Non-sticky
• It stays on for hours ( I actually tested it first over the counter before buying it the next day, just to make sure how long it would stay on my brows. hehe )
• It tames my brows very well
• Amazing color pay-off 
• Handy
• Clear tube ( I can see the amount of product inside )
• Dries  fast upon application
• Manufacturing & expiration date is indicated ( to give us an idea how long is the shelf life of the product )

CON'S :

• Brush is quite big for my brows ( which makes the application a bit messy )
• There's this distinct scent that I don't like ( I prefer unscented ones, hehe )

After ( used in2it brow pencil, brow powder & jazzy brow gel )

FINAL THOUGHT :

• I dyed my hair with medium blonde & I wanted to balance my features, light hair and not so dark brows ( for a softer look ) , I've tried Etude house's  but this Jazzy brow gel is so much better!  I would definitely repurchase this one!

I've always wanted to write a review about my holy grail lotion ( aside from my Dermplus sunblock and Royale Lotion ) hehe, this is one of the lotions which I have used the longest and never fails me.
I love applying this every night to moisturize my body, especially my feet.

It is a bit watery, not sticky at all 

Pro's :  

• Mild scented lotion 
• Light and easily absorbed into the skin w/o the greasy feeling
• Awarded as Superbrands 
• Has UV protection
• Has English translation because it has a Thai description at the back
• Has manufacturing & expiration dates  
• Convenient because there's a pump
• It also comes in a savers pack ( for refill )
• It effectively moisturizes my skin
• Affordable ( 145 php )
• Great buy because it's 500 ml
• Gives my skin a healthy glow

Cons :

• Not good to use as a daily lotion, you may need a high SPF content for optimum protection.
• It is not the extremely powerful whitening lotion most people expect.

Final thought :

• I'm a thrifty person, but when it comes to skincare I do invest a bit and make sure I get the value for my money. I've been using this lotion since college and until this very moment I'm still loving it! hehe. I use this every night for a smooth and hydrated skin in the morning. It's really affordable yet a high quality product, thumbs up!

Review : NO SWEAT Anti-perspirant deodorant

Hyperhydrosis is a condition characterized by abnormally increased sweating / perspiration.

Indeed, this is what I have been trying to control since high school. I get sweaty hands, feet and yes, including armpits especially in times when I get really nervous and when it's really hot.

I tried using Driclor before, which I purchased at  Oroderm, a derm clinic here in Davao. It really worked well on me and my excessive sweating was in control. But after several weeks of using the product, I felt some itchiness on my pits and it bothered me a lot. So when I used up the whole bottle, I decided to stop using it. I tried so many anti-perspirant products in the market but nothing does the job like the Driclor and this No Sweat Anti-perspirant Deodorant. I believe it's a dupe for the Driclor, but half the price! hehe.

Pros :

• It controls sweating of my feet, hands and armpits
• Affordable 
• Easy to apply, just spray it and you're good to go
• Pleasant scent
• Did not irritate or darken my pits 
• Dries fast
• The first bottle I used lasted for 2 months :)
• Convenient 

   Cons :

• It's not available everywhere, most of the time it's sold out :(
• Can over dry skin if applied in excess amount
• Leaves a white cast 

If I were to rate this product from 1-10, I honestly give this one 10! I really loved it. It helped me control my hyperhydrosis and I feel more confident especially wearing my favorite sandals. This is basically my own and honest opinion, my experience may differ from others. But if you're terribly bothered by excessive sweating, just try this one! it is a trial and error process, you never know this might be the answer to your long time problem.

REVIEW : DERMPLUS MOISTURIZING SUNBLOCK SPF 80

Personally, I don't love swimming at all because of the main reason that I don't know how to swim! hehe..

but that doesn't mean I hate going to the beach and enjoy summer, I consider this as the best time to wear sundresses and sexy tops! And yes, to have fun under the sun but never compromising my skin. I always emphasize  in my videos how important a sunblock is, this is my best friend especially this hot season because we must always remember that UV rays are extremely harmful to the skin and it causes premature wrinkles, age spots and skin discolorations. This is a fact and none of us are exempted, so the best thing to do is "Prevention" .

Below is my holy grail sunblock, I've been using this brand for 5 years already! and until this very moment it never fails me. 

Good thing because they indicated the manufacturing and expiration dates of the product :)

This sunblock is chemical based, NOT Organic ( For those who are particular of the ingredients like artificial preservatives used )

        CON'S : 

• THE SCENT IS NOT THAT PLEASANT ( Typical sunblock scent )
•  LEAVES A WHITE CAST
• A  BIT STICKY UPON APPPLICATION

FINAL THOUGHT :

                              I really love this sunblock! The scent and a bit of stickiness doesn't bother me at all. I would definitely repurchase this product. Like what I said, I've been using this brand for 5 years, it simply means I am totally in-love with this! :)
